They call the Plen robot a "Desktop" robot as it can be controlled for your desktop pc or via Bluetooth with a mobile phone.

It has a 3 axis accelerometer which not only allowes it to do what other robots do, but also do stuff like roller skate - :D.

It's only 23cm high and weighs a slight 0.7 kg but still has a 32bit ARM processor. the only down side it that it'll cost about £1k when it's launched.
